"The seal fits in a channel. use a butter knife to prise the faulty gasket and push the new one in firmly. one thing i found is that i continued to use the grinder while waiting for the part. this kept priming the pump when no water was in the reservoir so it took a while to get the air out of the system. leave some water in if you continue to use the grinder to brew coffee in a different machine. i thought i had stuffed the pump."
