"The steam filter and steam ring can be replaced with the unit standing normally but i found it better to remove the bean hopper and the water tank then turn it upside down and give it a clean while replacing the steam ring. having the unit upside down also makes it a little easier to remove the old steam ring and press in the new one without risk of damage."
