"Climb into roof and disconnect power or turn power off at switchboard. remove vent panels unscrew complete motorfan. you need to unscrew the light fittings and terminal box from faulty motor and reinstall on new motor. open terminal box and take note of which wires go where. disconnect wires from faulty motor and connect wires from new motor. u may need to cut a couple of them, strip them and twist together to reconnect them. reinstall complete motor and switches into the rangehood. experience in electrical wiring is pretty much a must."

"The part fitted perfectly. it came complete with the motor inside and all wiring except that it had no starter capacitor. the old capacitor worked and everything went together well. the assembly actually seemed to be a bit better quality than the original. so all good with the rangehood. i would definitely buy parts here again."
