"Required almost the entire unit to be disassembled. as long as you organise yourself so you know which screws go where and take your time i think most people would be able to do it themselves. the tap is attached with a free turning internal nut inside the boiler so you cant just use a shifter to remove - you need to open the boiler completely - remove the element and hold the nut to remove which is basically a full disassembly of the machine. gives you a chance to give it a good clean to get rid of any build ups."

"Disconnect wires (taking note of where they are connected to), remove the main boiler-steamer from the coffee machine. pull that apart, disconnect the element to get to the washer on the inside of the boiler to unscrew then fit new tap and put it all back together in reverse."
