"Fortunately this is probably one of the easiest replacements for this machine. chances are at some point you were looking forward to getting some hot water into your cup or preparing to froth some milk into a velvety smooth finish for another exceptional (insert caffeine beverage here) and all you ended up with was a broken knob in your hand and a premature end to your experience. sound familiar well once you receive your replacement knob (i received in just a few days) it is simply a case of 1. making sure any pieces of broken knob are removed from the tap assembly 2. gripping the new knob in a manner that you are comfortable with 3. gently but firmly pushing the knob over the tap assembly until it stops. my tap was already in the off position so i was able to place the knob accordingly. you may want to verify where the tap is before replacing the knob so that it is positioned correctly. no one likes a misaligned knob. thats it. you should be good to power up and get back to making coffee."
