"Disconnect fridge completely from power. part is a bit tricky to replace but its located in the freezer compartment behind the plastic cover panel, remove 2 screws (behind plastic screw covers) then remove larger plastic clip inspection hole to pull entire panel out. gently pull out the metal radiator being carefull not to snap any copper pipes. remove both plastic and metal cable straps. disconnect the main connector and remove the heater assembly. remove black ground cable from the connectorplus (using a paper clip helps) move all remainder parts from old to new heater then put everything back together as removed."

"I looked on utube but could not find the element being changed for the same model so i struggled a bit with some of the process as i was unsure how to remove the cover panel covering the evaporator and heating element as only two screws visible. also with one of the electrical connections it was not a straightforward plug in - you need to actually detach one of the leads from the plug connector. a high resolution exploded parts diagram would have been very helpful."
