"Fitting the thermostat was quite simple - once the old part was removed it was easy to follow the same steps in reverse. however my original thermostat had a sleeve that covered most part of the exposed capillary except the heat sending end. this was the only section that took me some time to cover."

"The faulty parts are hard to get at. the stove needs to be pulled away from the back wall the stovetop needs to be removed. unfortunately the thermostat i received was faulty. normally when you turn the dial for the thermostat which selects the oven mode a distinct click step can be heardfelt. this was not occurring with the thermostat i received. fortunately the tradesman undertaking the repair had similar replacement parts in his workshop was able to complete the repair. i will return the faulty thermostat request a refund."
