"All screws are phillips heads. unplug from power, remove all freezer contents including the top 2 shelves, unscrew two screws underneath the light cover and then remove the cover, prise off the dummy covers for the 3 screws holding the fan unit in place a small sharp 3mm flat tip screwdriver works well, the dummies have their catch parts in the horizontal plane - the top left one can stay as it does nothing. undo the three screws. take note of the arrow markings on the edges of the plastic as they indicate where the catch tabs are...gently buckle the unit at the side to release the catches. once it is free unplug the fan plug. to replace the motor undo the single cover screw the motor becomes free...note orientation of motor rubbers to get the fan off prise of the end of the spring surrounding the fan spigot with a flat blade screw driver..pointy nose pliers required to completely remove. to release the fan force it toward the motor to crack the factory glue then remove it outwards...it does require some force..if you break the plastic on one side like i did use some superglue to stick it back on when you put the new motor in. assembly is the reverse."
