"Unscrew top of machine and slide backwards to remove. carefully detach wired item above centre of coffee dispenser and move to one side. unscrew faulty connector. remove conical rubber tipped spring from connector and put aside. remove split pins from connector to allow removal of two attached water pipes. remove two o-rings from inside faulty connector. discard faulty connector. put o-rings into new connector. reconnect hoses and split pins. replace conical spring into base of new connector rubber tip up. use a long loop of cottonthread to hold the conical spring in place while inverting. push new connector loosely into place. pull out and remove supporting cotton thread. push new connector home. replace screws. push wire thingy back onto two pins at top. test. replace lid."
