"Remove rear cover remove bottom hose remove top retaining hose clip and hose from pump. remove pomp from flexible supports. unscrew top hose coupling from old pump and fit to new pump. reverse procedure to fit new pump."

"Disconnect the machine from the power source. remove the screws from the sides of the rear plastic cover. use a flat object back of a knife paint scraper or similar to flatten down the plastic tabs that stick up from the plastic cover behind the ss top lip. beginning from one side and working towards the other. as you flatten each one prise the cover out slightly from the stainless steel top plate. this should release the back cover as soon as you have flattened the final tab. the tabs have enough resilience to regain enough of their original shape so they can be replaced when the job is finished. leave the old pump in place. use a pair of side cutting pliers to snip the cable tie from the water tube on the pump inlet. its easiest to snip off the locking tab rather than trying to cut the tie somewhere in the middle. remove the tube from the input. use a spanner to disconnect the output hose from the pump outlet. note position of the two spade connectors providing the electrical power to the pump. remove each and connect to the new pump in turn. remove the old pump from its rubber mounts and position the new pump in its place. connect the inlet hose to the new pump. place a cable tie around the inlet hose above the grooves in the pumps inlet pipe. use a pair of pliers to hold the locking end of the cable tie in place and tighten the tie using a second set of pliers to pull it tight. before replacing the rear cover connect to power and carefully run a small amount of water through the system to check for leaks. next make a proper cup of coffee to check that the connection is secure under pressure. if all is well disconnect power and replace the rear cover. machine is now functional."

"Remove back by undoing six ph screws. the back is then prised out form the top rh corner and deformed slightly to remove. swap over is straightforward. snip cable tie on bottom hose. pry out with blunt knife. 13mm spanner to undo top nut of hose connection. photograph the wires and remove wires by sliding off connectors. remove pump from rubber housing. reverse and replace cable tie on bottom hose"

"Fitting the new pump was very easy. just needed to purchase a small cable tie to hold the water hose onto the bottom of the pump"

"It should be noted that replacement pump wiring may be different to original. there is a sensor insert and 2 blue wires next to it. on the tag next to the sensor there is a symbol of a diode (triangle with bar across apex) this may be reversed on the replacement pump if the pump does not work reverse the 2 wires and the pump will functional normally. no damage can be caused by the wires being incorrectly connected. the diode merely controls the flow of current. do not forget to replace the cable tie on the inlet to the pump to ensure correct seal to prevent leaks. this info is provided by a qualified electronics technician"

"Youll need to determine with a multi-meter that current is flowing point-to-point within the unit after removing the rear cover checking fuses fuseable links along the way. once i determined that the pump was receiving current via the logic control circuit had failed ( it receives this in pulses at first start-up so ensure you get intermittent readings on your multi-meter of 232-volts or more ) it was easy to remove the pump find its part-number source a new one. refitting was just as easy but ensure that the pressure-line o-ring is seated on the line itself before refitting. the pump outlet also has a plastic reducer that needs to be swapped-over. drawing out a color-coded wiring diagram will help some folks in re-assembly as it may be a few weeks before your pump arrives."

"Simple swap of pump new for old. remove back cover. pull off bottom hose and unscrew top. slip out old pump and disconnect spade terminals and over-temp cutout. install new pump in reverse order. note pump will not run unless polarity is correct."

"Simple replacement. 1. isolate coffee machine from power sourse ie pull out plug from power point 2. remove water tank. 3. remove 6 screws from rear plastic cover. very carefully remove rear plastic cover (use blade type screwdriver if required) 4. cut cable tie from inlet water hose and remove hose from bottom of old pump. 5. using 2 adjustable spanners undo the 2 copper nuts at the top hose and remove top hose from old pump. 6. carefully remove the 3 electric connections from the old pump (take note of their position) 7. remove old pump from the 2 flexible mounts. installation of new pump is the reverse of the removal process."
