"It would have been nice to have a detailed description on how to install the part- the diagram download on the webpage showed very little and did not help at all. remember to turn the power off..."

"Remove the pads then using a phillips head screwdriver remove 4 screws holding the front channel into which the pads sit. the switch assembly can now be lifted up and out - it is a firm fit. open the switch assembly to expose the switch mechanism. push a thin awl or a paper clip in next to the cables to release them and push them into the new switch one at a time so that the cables dont get mixed up. reassemble the switch fit the curved locators they can only go one way and push the whole assembly back into position and tuck it down behind the lip. refit the channel and pads."

"Unscrew metal panel under switch and remove replace switch with new one. wires pop out of old switch unit with a bit of force strip and push into new switch in correct place and test."

"Pulling apart the unit is straightforward. find the appropriate screws and undo them to take it all apart. when removing the wires from the old switch poke a needle into where they enter the switch and separate the sprung connection clamps that hold the wire in. to connect the wires into the new switch simply push them into the appropriate hole and the connection clamps inside will bite when you push the wire through them. re-assemble."
