"Disconnect refrigerator from power. remove the unit re-connect all wiring to new unit re-install the unit back power up the refrigerator"

"Turn off fridge and remove panel at back of freezer compartment. if core frozen, test thermostat switch with ohm meter - should be closed circuit. thaw out core with a hair dryer till all ice is gone. retest thermostat should be open circuit. thermostat ok. test defrost element for closed circuit - should have ohm meter reading not open circuit. replaced control board at bottom rear of fridge and had to reroute some cabling due to minor update to box."

"Fitting was a simple case of removing old unit - disconnect 3 multiplugs, reconnect to new unit and refit. only difference was that the new unit has three retaing screw holes to match two female screw holes."

"Rear bottom of fridge next to compressor. original control box has extra plugs that werent needed so were cut off. the metal box had to be modified with pliers to allow cable entry. the rest just plugged in."
