"Big job. almost have to disassemble whole machine. as stated on one web site the technicians worst job. however it was either fix for 100.00 or buy a new machine."

"You have to pull the whole plastic drum out of the machine, split the plastic drum to access the inner stainless steel wash drum. i had to cut the three bolts that hold the spider to the wash drum. corrosion is a killer. reverse the process. job done"

"Completely remove drum from machine taking care to mark or note all electrical connections. remove bolts from spider assembly on base of drumnot easy required grinding the heads off drilling bolts out. these need to be replaced. replace assembly with new part bolts using loctite. i also replaced the 2 bearings in the drum housing. reassembly requires some skill to get drive pulley belt installed re-fitting the unit back into the housing installing the dampening springs the rubber door seal ring spring were all quite advanced and would generally be left to a professional or at the very least someone with accomplished mechanical knowledge."

"Listed the part as compatible on the website but turns out it was not. nobody will respond to any emails so the problem can be resolved. the part has not been fitted. what an absolute disgrace of a company"

"This is a complete strip down item to replace. two men required and knowledge of machine... ie procedure and tips like removing heater element first... the element us a rubber bung type and is expanded in to plastic via a central nut to tighten rubber to make water tight through expansion."

"Rr top rear panel front door and panel. disconnect and remove tub bowl assy. split tub and remove bowl spider and bearings. clean everything. fit new bearings and seal new spider, re-assemble bowl and tub assy and refit to chassis. reconnect wiring hoses and new door seal. run and test. i am a mechanic. some mechanical and electrical knowledge is essential."
