"Disconnect power, remove agitator and shaft holding nuts, place machine on side, unplug all cablecords, remove weights and support rods, remove break and top bracket, unscrew bottom bracket and pull out motor shaft and all, remove tub and cover, replace bearings and seals, reverse to install. ps take picture each set on dismantle - helps to reinstall."

"This is not particularly difficult but it does involve almost complete disassembly of the machine and is quite time consuming. it is useful to have access to a press because if the seal is leaking then almost inevitably the bearing below it will have rusted and therefore need changing. this is a simple job with a press but could probably be done with a drift and a mallet. start with the machine upright and remove agitator and the drum locking bracket then turn the machine upside down and remove the drive train. take photos before pulling the machine apart so that you can ensure it goes back together exactly the same."
