"Agitator very difficult to lift off. had not been removed before and was stuck on shaft tightly. i tried making a puller but when i applied pressure it broke the old agitator which had become brittle. i then broke up the agitator to get to spline, split spline and pulled off. rest was pretty straightforward. note bowl suspension rods have two different lengths. i also unknowingly bent the lever which switches machine off when out of balance. this lever protrudes from under the top cover when it is removed and i think i bent it when i set the top down on the floor for storing before being refitted. i didnt notice until i had reassembled the machine and it didnt have power.(the switch cuts power to machine when in wrong place) took me a while to work out what was wrong. straightened lever and all good"
