"Undo bolt holding broken agitator in place and remove agitator. fit agitator and insert and tighten bolt. fitting new agitator was a very tight fit (where splines of the metal rotator in the washing machines meet the plastic centre insert in the agitator) i had to place a small plastic chopping board on the top of the agitator and firmly tap the agitator in place with the heel of my hand. using liquid soap to ease it into place didnt work. once done i tightened the bolt and the machine has worked perfectly ever since."
